Genie Bottles
I love making these! Each bottle is thrown, either carved, or slip trailed, and painstakingly glazed with a variety of Raku glazes. I then subject all that hard work to the fiery, sometimes destructive, always transformational nature of the Raku process. What emerges is one of a kind. A relic of it's own life process. Reminiscent of something, but utterly of the moment.
